Located within Cira Centre at 30th Street Station, B+labs operates 50 000SF of wet lab and office space to support the creation, growth, and success of companies discovering and developing novel medicines and technologies.

Current B+labs-located companies, along with their founders, investors, and collaborators, are working with emerging and proven therapeutic modalities to change clinical treatment paradigms and outcomes for patients around the world. 

B+labs supports these companies with lab space, operational capabilities, and a network of organizations and individuals with expertise across the lifecycle of growth and product development to ensure Philadelphia remains at the frontier of medical innovation.

The B+labs flagship location in Philadelphia comprises 50,000SF of plug-and-play lab and office space over two floors at Cira Centre.

Lab Offerings: 191 lab benches, 35 desks, 15 private offices; open desking space; 20 total labs offering 3 to 20 lab benches per lab; shared Accelerator lab space for emerging cos; on-site vivarium (Q1 2024); conference rooms; large event and meeting space; shared scientific instrumentation and equipment; complete management of EHS and Facility needs as well as biological and chemical waste streams; an emerging collaborative and networked environment to enable company growth (i.e. capital, instrument and equipment purchasing, recruiting, scientific and business consultation).

B+labs was built by Philadelphia-HQ’d Brandywine Real Estate Investment Trust, is managed by the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC), and operates under Philadelphia-rooted staff.
