B+labs’ Cira Centre and University City location affords us many great amenities for professional and social conveniences:

The B₊labs kitchen area is located next to the 3rd-floor lounge and is equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and a freezer for use by all residents. One refrigerator is designated for resident lunches and one is stocked with items for all residents. The kitchen is stocked with snacks, fruit, and beverages for all residents and guests. Residents with specific dietary needs or restrictions are encouraged to reach out to crisbel.baez@blabscira.com. 

There are two coffee machines on the 3rd floor and one on the 4th floor as well as watering stations. All residents are encouraged to bring their reusable water bottle to fill up at the stations and support our sustainability efforts.   

B₊labs has an agreement with Circle Compost to compost fruit, coffee grounds, and other items. The company donates most of the compost they make to urban farm and garden partners around the city, so composting at our facility helps Philly’s urban farmers and gardeners grow healthier crops. A collection bucket is in a pull-out drawer by the kitchen water dispenser. Residents with additional questions of what should be placed in the bucket can contact crisbel.baez@blabscira.com. 

341 open desking area has three external monitors that residents can use to hook up to their laptops. 

The 3rd-floor lounge area equipped with tables and chairs for dining and recreational use. smart television in space allows residents to use the lounge for non-private presentations and events. 

The wellness and maternity space at B₊labs is located in Room 448. This space includes a small refrigerator, couch, books, TV and other supplies. Residents can reserve the room for privacy if needed using the Roomzilla scheduling system. 

Company mailboxes, shipping, office, and printing supplies can all be found in the B+labs mailroom in 351.  

Printing stations are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. Secure printing instructions can be found HERE.  

B+labs has and will continue to establish business relationships with a small number of companies and organizations that support therapeutics companies via products and services: instruments, reagents, consumables, consulting expertise, legal/Intellectual Property (IP) expertise, etc., i.e., “Sponsors”. The intent here is to give additional support to B+labs-based companies with Sponsors that bring value to the site.

In addition to science-related Sponsors, B+labs has established a number of relationships to support B+labs-based companies with housing, recruiting, event venues, etc. Again, the intent here is to create relationships that solve problems for and/or add value to B+labs companies.
